A FICTIONAL HOSPITALITY BRAND BUILT AS SATIRE AND SOCIAL MIRROR. THE POUNDBURY HOTEL TAKES AIM AT INHERITED GRANDEUR AND THE STRANGE NOSTALGIA OF COLONIAL AESTHETICS,THE EMPIRE REPACKAGED AS BOUTIQUE LUXURY.
Drawing on the visual codes of British refinement, serif typography, ceremonial gold, and deadpan five-star formality. the project reimagines hospitality branding as
cultural commentary.
From billboard to toiletries, each touchpoint plays with the language of privilege and polite denial, serving irony with a side of lemon myrtle and dissent.
This is branding as provocation, familiar, elegant, and faintly uncomfortable.
